Online Shopping in India

Gone are the times when we used to go places and spend days to purchase a costly product. The times we spent on going to each and every shop to know more about the product from the retailer and to get better discounted products!

In the 90's mindset people were skeptical about buying a costly gadget or any product for the matter from an online shopping store and hence there were a few out in the market to strike a best deal. Maybe this was because of the perceptions and illusions they had about getting the right piece for their buck! They didn't consider their time investment on querying about the product and discounts but always wanted the best for their buck and didn't want to take any blind chances!

However in the 20th Century life has been revolutionizing and the internet has made its way in every home and people want to strike the deal as soon as it strikes their mind or some good perceptions of the product that make an image in their mind, maybe the trend or  for the  late night dinner chats to boast something of! Everyone has their own reasons for making a quick deal of something!

At this point of time a few of the sites such as eBay, Flipkart, Infibeam, and a few others plunged into the market taking advantage of the revolutionizing environment that was set to grow in the coming years.Astonishingly what initially made them popular was not the quality of the product or the price, but was the service the user got which he had never expected to be! Starting with this these companies made their way to capturing a bigger group of people day by day or may i say minute by minute and started setting off with huge profits.

At the end of this spree would the consumer really be getting the  value for his every buck or is it only a large group of people who are benefited?
